He is well-known for his performances in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt Fletcher, both in McLeod's Daughters. Jeffery was born in Auckland and relocated to Australia when he was a teenager. Then he trained in acting at NIDA. He graduated from NIDA in 1993. He began his television career with the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is most famous for his role in McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in the year 2008.
